چکیده

Correction After publication of the original article [1] it was noted that the caption of Table two was incorrect. This caption should read “Distribution of ovarian follicles depending on the type (healthy, transitional, and atretic). Small superscript letters a and b indicate significant differences in the respective ovarian follicle numbers within the various types of follicles (P < 0.05) as determined by a one-way ANOVA followed by the Kruskall-Wallis test.” Table 2 and the correct caption are shown below: These errors were introduced during typesetting, thus the publisher apologizes for this error.

Expression of factors involved in apoptosis and cell survival is correlated with enzymes synthesizing lysophosphatidic acid and its receptors in granulosa cells originating from different types of bovine ovarian follicles

BACKGROUND Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) regulates reproductive processes in the cow. Ovarian granulosa cells play a pivotal role in follicle growth and development. Nevertheless, the role of LPA in the local regulation of granulosa cell function in different follicle categories in the bovine ovary has not been investigated. METHODS Ovarian follicles were divided into healthy, transitional and ...

Effect of lysophosphatidic acid on the follicular development and the ‎expression of lysophosphatidic acid receptor genes during in vitro culture of ‎mouse ovary

Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) known as a serum-derived growth factor, is involved in several cell physiological functions in the female reproductive system including: oocyte maturation, in vitro fertilization and embryo implantation by its transmembrane G protein-coupled receptors. The aim of the present study was to examine the effect of LPA on in vitro follicular development o...

Movento influences development of granulosa cells and ovarian follicles and FoxO1 and Vnn1 gene expression in BALB/c mice

Objective(s): Pesticides has wide range of infertility in female reproductive. This study was done to evaluate the effect of movento pesticide on development of granulosa cells and ovarian follicles and FoxO1 and Vnn1 gene expression in BALB/c mice. Materials and Methods: In this study 40 healthy BALB/c mice 5-6 weeks age were used. Animals were randomly allocated into four groups. Control (wi...

O-13: Gene Expression Pattern of Adiponectin and Adiponectin Receptors in Bovine Dominant and Non-Dominant Follicles

Background: Recent studies have revealed that adiponectin, a novel adipocytokine, and its two receptors (AdipoR1 and AdipoR2) are involved in regulation of ovarian function in various farm animal species. The aim of this study was to investigate the gene expression pattern of Adiponectin and its receptors in ovarian cells of dominant (DFs) and non- dominant follicles (NDFs) in the bovine. Mater...

O-46: The Expression of Leptin and Its Receptorduring Different Physiological Stages in theBovine Ovary

Background: Leptin, the hormonal product of the obese (ob) gene, circulates in the blood at levels paralleling those of fat reserves and regulates satiety. In cattle, leptin has also been implicated in the control of ovarian function, but its local production in the ovary and role in the control of ovarian function in autocrine/paracrine manner is unknown. The aims of this study were to documen...
